When Will It End by Felicia Brown?
The night that Felicia sat down on her couch and thought "Wow I have a twenty-year-old" she felt heart broken with all the gun violent cases and mother's and father's losing their child/children to gun violence. Felicia stated "I don't know what I will do if something happens to my daughter.
With everything going on in her local communities and other neighborhoods around the world with she felt like a prisoner and victim in her on "hood" as stated in song meaning (neighborhoods) around the world.
Felicia started writing a beautiful song titled "When Will It End".
With all the gun violence, police shootings and people dying she wanted to ask, When will it end? later to learn about another worldwide incident she felt ready to record and shoot a simple video to help deliver the message.
Felicia struggled with the spoken words and ask her Daughter Micquel Goins who is a college student at Miami-Dade to write that part. Emotions were all over the place because she felt my pain and the pain of all those mother's and fathers.
When the song was introduced to the Queen of Pinkk Record Label, Kyla loved it and help with the end writing with Brintney Ingraham.
Kyla later picked out a beautiful beat created by J Blaze and put everything together after understanding Felicia vision and turning When will it end into a beautiful song along with Brintney Ingraham.
Felicia said Gorilla Tek (Producer) did an amazing job with recording Kyla and going overboard to get this project done. Team Work we did it.
Lastly, Felicia said it's time to heal and come together as one and put the guns DOWN.
